The Art of Listening
Join Cat for her signature transformational Biodynamic Yin to explore the power of invisible through yin yoga and subtle energetics.
In “the Art of Listening” we practice Yin (longer-held passive poses that influence the fascia and energy lines of the body) interwoven with Cat’s awareness and wisdom of the energetic world through the teachings of Biodynamic craniosacral therapy. We also work with the chakras, the auric field, as well as connecting with our ancestral lines and subtle energy.
We play with the Field, the potent life force that exists within all of us. With focus, intention, breath work and awareness on the subtle undercurrents, you will learn how to trust your sensitivity and sense your own unique energetic field. You will sense your blockages on different levels and learn how to dissolve them.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of practitioners. Come with an open mind and a willingness to deep-dive into spectacular worlds of the unknown.

Yoga Nidra: Yogic Vision Quest
Join Cat Kabira in her signature “Yogic Vision Quest.” Based on Swami Satyananda Saraswati’s “Yoga Nidra” Cat shares her version of journeying into the body and the power of dreaming and self-healing. Drop down into the deeper currents in your system and connect to a deeper level of relaxation. Discover the power of your imagination as you access a hypnotic state of dreamtime and deeper layers of your subconscious. This is your time to connect to your inner magic and creative self. This vision quest is a blend of a yoga nidra and shamanic journey. Come prepared to experience something out of the ordinary!
Yogic Vision Quest is experienced by laying comfortably on the floor. We will being with a short talk to give some context, do a short practice to drop ourselves in state in between sleeping and waking, and then we will go off on our journey. After our practice we will have some sharing and context with the journey we just experienced.
Bring a journal and pen, and get ready to connect to your magic.
THUR 6 FEB – 11.30am – 1.30pm
Enjoy this slow, mindful and fluid practice with Cat Kabira as you journey through your whole body. Using breath, a quality of deep attention and slow movements with some held postures as well as fluid movements in order to rejuvenate your whole body. We will include practices for taking care of the back, softening and supporting the shoulders, as well as relaxing the neck. Leave feeling lighter, taller, relaxed and delighted.
Cat Kabira weaves her knowledge of yoga with pilates, craniosacral therapy, the subtle energy body, and the gyrotonic expansion system to create a seamless class that meets the needs of her students. She created a series of therapeutic and restorative videos for a company called “Sixty and Me” – targeted for women aged 60 plus – in order to help build confidence in the self, deeper awareness and more vibrant health in the body. Even students who weren’t in this target range – including men and students and teachers in their 30s – found these powerful in their simplicity, slowing down, and invitation to feel on a whole new level.
