She brings playful humour and intuitive insight along with hands on help to create a very personal connection in her classes. che"I’ve been practicing yoga on and off for about 20 years and I was lucky enough to be exposed to Cat's unique teaching style while I was working in Phnom Penh. As a visiting teacher, she introduced us to Forrest Yoga which is challenging, innovative and fun. I really enjoyed her classes & followed her down to Bali for a week during my holidays. Thanks Cat we miss you in Phnom Penh."

leslie"In more than nine years of serious yoga study, I consider Cat Kabira one of my favourite instructors ever. Her enthusiasm and charisma are infectious. No matter what my mood, I am always excited to take her class. Many yoga instructors consciously or unconsciously promote perfection by maintaining a veneer of physical and emotional perfection. Cat, on the other hand, freely acknowledges her past eating disorders and other common human foibles. She encourages students to try new poses or to fall out of a pose, saying “It is just yoga!” I have to fight against my natural inclinations toward perfectionism & other type A behavior every day, so Cat’s permission not to be perfect has led me to break down many walls in my life, and I am grateful to Cat for her help."

neil"I've learned so much about yoga and life from Cat Kabira. Whenever I reflect on the dozens and dozens of classes we've had, two wonderful thoughts come to mind. Cat often reminded us to smile and relax, because after all, this is only yoga. The other thought was her encouragement to just have fun with the pose. Somedays you'll go deeper with the pose, somedays it just won't work as well. Just do your best today, be in the moment & have fun. We don't judge or criticize. Be kind to yourself and just let go. Cat made sure we all had as much fun as possible! She brings that sparkle and wisdom to life also. We all miss Cat's wisdom, love and kindness back here in Boston. Enjoy her wherever you are!"

deidre"I am always impressed with Cat's intuitive teaching style. I love how she feels her way into & through a practice. As a student it makes each class a truly new experience & because it is different every time it really promotes the act of being present. Her guidance with strengthening & focusing on Uddiyana Bandha has been a key to improving my own practice. I've also taken a private lesson with Cat & the personal information I learned in that lesson is invaluable to my mind/body development. I can't say enough about Cat's passion, knowledge, and inspirational self & awareness! She's a gift to the yogis all over the world."

suzan"Cat has a natural talent for teaching yoga and an openness to share that gift. Her classes challenge the body, open the heart, and liftthe spirit, all in equal measure. Sequencing is always interesting, fresh, even daring. Cat brings a heartfelt openness to each person's experience on the mat, that day, that moment, whatever it may be. Cat's classes are like a doorway to something delicious beyond and there is no guilt for tasting, sipping, devouring. Each pose, a tasty revelation. or not, that, Cat would say, is totally up to you."

"Cat is inspirational as a person because she is honest and full of life. One of her best qualities is the ability to pull these characteristics out of other people. She has the strength to help other people stay focused on their path. Her energy is beautiful and strong."

"I have been a practioner of yoga for five years. Cat is by far the best teacher that I have encountered. Cat's instruction inspired me to tap into the power that I did not know I had to heal myself physically, emmotionally and spiritually. She has the ability to lovingly bring her students to the edge and expand ones comfort zone in a way that is only positive for the growth of the student. She is knowledgable, attentive, captivating and inspiring as she leads her students to new and amazing places in their lives through yoga. I can say with full conviction that I would not be who I am today if Cat had not entered my life when and where she did. She was even the person who directed me to my first yoga teacher training and now to teach in San Francisco Ca. Thank you Cat, meow!"

"It just so happened that I met Cat at a very odd point in my life. I was dealing with a lot of stuff and I started doing Yoga as a form of therapy. I tried Yin, and was not to thrilled, but when one of my friends took me to a forrest class I totally dug it. Though I really enjoyed the class, I wanted to take some privates and the second I met Cat I was instantly drawn to her energy and knew I should study with her. And after studying with Cat for about six months, I honestly feel my life has very much changed with the lessons I have taken from our practice together. I always look forwards to seeing Cat, she always makes me smile...and though I will miss her, and miss doing our hallelujah abs of destruction....I wish her a freaking rockin' journey! Wherever Cat goes she brings joy and positive energy. I feel lucky to be her student and friend."

"Cat opened me up allowing me to get to know myself and love myself and others in a meaningful way. Through Cat's inspiring communication skills and intuitive teaching abilities I was able to experience growth in my Yoga practice. Cat's fire walk instruction lead me to a place where I was able to experience the most intense way of dealing with fear and improving self confidence."

"As odd as it may sound, I think the very first time I learnt to breathe properly was in one of Cat's Forest Yoga Classes in Bali. Her powerful, inviting words "soak your heart with breath" transformed themselves into an action. I could actually feel breath rising into my chest and heart, I could actually FEEL it. After you have felt this once, you can never do Yoga with shallow, belly
breathing again. I will be forever grateful to Cat for the lessons she taught me about love and self acceptance through her Yoga classes. In my experience, there are few Yoga teachers as spirited & honest as Cat. I have also been exposed to her great tenderness and skills as a Craniosacral Therapist and know that she is truly gifted. Together we travelled to places I knew existed but could never feel. With Cat, I feel, I manage to stop thinking and feel. This is something I will always be thankful to Cat for."

"Cat has a unique gift that she shares in each yoga class that she teaches. She opens her heart and gives of herself freely and with such honesty. I personally have been inspired by her. As a new Yoga teacher, I would look forward to practicing with her. I learned so much, not only about alignment for the asanas but each practice I would leave feeling a little lighter, stronger, and happier. She has this inate ability to know what her students need. Cat would talk about her own experiences and life lessons to us, and so often I would feel it was directed to me to help me get thru my own journey. I remember her saying "live your life fearlessly!" I've taken this mantra with me through out the many changes in my life. Cat is the real deal, a kind loving spirit . I admire her and wish her well on her new adventure! I'll miss her so much.
-Laurie Barron, Yoga Instructor

"Cat is a teacher's teacher. She speaks with integrity, joy and enthusiasm in her classes. She is a knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated practitioner and teacher of yoga. Cat is the teacher that reminds you why you practice Yoga. That Yoga is a practice far beyond a series of physical postures and she invites you to go on a deeper journey of self exploration and liberation from any fears that hold you back from being the best you can be. I am so grateful that we have crossed paths, she has enriched my teaching and my practice. Namaste Catia :)"
